Chalcogenide Glass Windows & Plates
Chalcogenide glass is a IR material made from a mixture of metals and semi-metals. There are 5 grades. It has high IR transmission and some uncoated & AR/AR handles temperature swings. It is an ideal alternative to Germanium added with AR & DLC coatings can transmit from 2-14 microns. Widely used for imaging systems, the windows make an ideal choice for thermal IR camera windows, pyrometers and optical systems.
