Coverslips

Coverslips are essential laboratory components used in conjunction with microscope slides for a wide variety of microscopy and scientific applications.

These thin, flat pieces of glass or other transparent materials are placed over specimens on microscope slides to protect them and ensure optimal viewing conditions.

At UQG Optics, we supply high-quality coverslips made from materials such as float glass, Borosilicate, Quartz, UV Fused Silica, Sapphire, and Calcium Fluoride (CaF2). These materials offer unique properties tailored to specific applications, including enhanced UV transparency for fluorescence microscopy or high-temperature resistance for experiments involving elevated temperatures.

Our coverslips are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses, making them suitable for both OEM instrument production and laboratory use. For specialised applications, we also offer coverslips with Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coatings applied to the surfaces.

UQG Optics provides an extensive selection of stock coverslips, as well as custom solutions made to your specific designs and requirements. Please contact us for your bespoke Coverslips needs, or browse our stock range to find the ideal solution for your application.
