Hot Mirrors

Hot Mirrors Filters act as heat protection by adding the hot mirror in the path beam of the light source, so reducing the temperature. The hot mirror reflects 90% IR and transmits visible. Our standard range is at 0° angle of incidence however we can supply 45° angle of incidence.

Hot Mirrors are used widely in projecting images, laser applications and many more where components need to be protected from the heat.

UQG Hot Mirrors are stocked in diameters and squares and we can custom make in various materials and supply custom optical coatings to a custom wavelength.
