Heat Absorbing Filters - Materials

Heat absorbing filters block the infrared wavelength by absorption. The visible transmission is passed making them ideal for precision optical equipment and instrumentation protecting them from thermal damage. They can be toughened to prevent the damage to the filter which can be caused by rapid heating or cooling.
