Chalcogenide Glass

Chalcogenide glass materials can cover IR bands: SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR.  Passing mainly IR light. The transmission range covers 2 – 14 microns, but with AR coatings this can increase the transmission greatly. The material allows design of colour correcting optical systems without thermal defocusing. The data can show uncoated and stock AR/DLC transmission.
