Optical Lenses

Optical Lenses are optical devices designed to focus or disperse light.

They can be made in many shapes and may be comprised of a single element or form constituent parts of a multi-element compound lens system. Optical Lenses are used to focus light and images, produce magnification, correct optical aberrations and for projection, mainly controlling the focus or divergence light used in instrumentation, microscopy and laser applications.

Any specification of convex or concave lens can be produced according to required transmission and material to a specific focal length.

UQG Optics supply’s Optical Lenses made from optical materials including Fused Quartz, Fused Silica, Optical glasses, UV and IR crystals and plastic optically moulded. Our lenses cover a range of commercial grade to precision quality across UV to IR spectrums, and are used in a variety of applications in the science, medical, imaging, defence and industrial sectors.

All our Optical Lenses can be supplied from a standard range stock, while custom sizes and specifications can be custom-made to your specific design.
