UQG custom Borosilicate windows range includes two main finishes - plate
finish or optically polished. We mainly supply Borofloat Borosilicate
cut and ground from sheet. This can then be worked into a guaranteed
optical polished surface to optical specifications or dimensional
tolerances.
Borosilicate has low coefficient of expansion with good resistance to
water, acid and Saline Solutions. It has good thermal properties
withstanding temperatures over lengthy periods of time.
Other grades and types of Borosilicate materials are supplied including
Pyrex and ultra thin glass Borosilicate glass substrates below 1mm in
thickness.
We hold extensive stocks of standard thicknesses supplying small and
production quantities
